5. Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona
There are more than 30 golden sandy beaches in the park that are dramatically set against a vertical jungle wall. It is Colombia’s second most popular park and is perfect for those who relax in beach huts or swing in hammocks.
The park’s beautiful white beaches are set against a backdrop of jungle slopes that lead to the world’s highest coastal mountains, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The park stretches along the coast from the Baha de Taganga near Santa Marta to the mouth of the Rio Piedras.
